¡Bien! ¿Porqué estas dos canciones juntas?

Pues, siempre se han tocado juntas, en el LP, casette, posteriormente cd y hasta en archivos mp3, las canciones han sonado juntas, y es debido a que Venus and Mars, viene simplemente a ser la introducción de Rock Show, y de hecho estos temas son la introducción de todos sus conciertos, en sus últimos repertorios ha empezado con Venus and Mars, siempre seguida de Rock Show.
Y me parecen geniales, Venus and Mars me parece un tema perfecto para iniciar un concierto, (junto con In the Flesh de Pink Floyd), es un éxito.

La melodía de Venus and Mars es muy tranquila y dura solo un minuto con 20 segundos, la mayor parte de la canción es instrumental, comenzando con un sonido de guitarra y teclado (que puede ser reemplazado por un instrumento de viento para darle un sonido más dulce) y posteriormente por la voz de Paul haciendo armonía junto con su fallecida primera esposa Linda McCartney.

Vamos con la letra:

La letra es muy clara, se la dedica a cualquier fan o espectador de algún show que está esperando por que el artista salga al escenario a empezar su gran concierto. ¿Acaso esta canción no es precisa para empezar cualquier concierto?

Luego sigue ya con fuera otro gran tema Rock Show un tema bastante movido como para empezar bien empilado sus tres horas de show, un tema netamente rockero que definitivamente inspira a olvidarte de todo mientras lo estas coreando.

Pienso yo, no lo sé pero la canción habla de Wings, Paul se refiere a los integrantes en esta canción hablando de que tocarán en Madison Square, en el Hollywood Bowl.

En verdad los mejores temas para empezar el concierto, espero así sea acá también en Perú, y estoy muy seguro de que sí.
